LVT 2016 r  2019 wh 2011 rosé  Bought by Stéphane Vedeau of La Ferme du Mont in 2010. The wines are now organic. There is very good Valréas white, based on mid-1980s Marsanne at around 400 metres - so capable of finesse even in hot summers - the 2017 a stylish **** wine, the **** 2019 also stylish and w.o.w. 

The reds are quite full on, but have vigour. The 2016 Valréas red was a **** STGT wine, true to its place, with a fine accumulation of different details. There is now a Châteauneuf-du-Pape red called Urgonien 1.14, and the 2015 of this 4,000 bottle production was a solid and striking ***** wine, with 23% Mourvèdre a good, strong influence.

LVT  2015  r  2015 wh Organic vineyards at Valréas, Rasteau, Beaumes-de-Venise and Ventoux. Her partner is Gilles Phetisson of Domaine de Lumian. Fair quality; the 2015 Valréas white rose to being a well wrapped **** wine, the 2015 Valréas red a tangy ***(*) wine. There is also a good Ventoux red from the north side of the Giant, the 2015 a ***(*) wine

LVT  2015  r  Coolly fruited red from sandy soils. Now organic. The 2015 Côtes du Rhône Cuvée St-Antoine red was **** wine with a sound heart

LVT 2015 r 2015 rosé 2015 wh  Husband and wife team with Caroline Bonnefoy one of the domaine names. Organic domaine. I have found the wines extracted in the past, but that may be easing: the 2015 Côtes du Rhône red was ***(*), as was the 2014 Rasteau red

LVT  2011 r  2011 rosé 2011 wh  Since 1999, run by four brothers – Paul-Henri (the winemaker, 1978), Louis-Pascal (vineyards), Guillaume, Matthieu. They took over the domaine from René Sinard. The elegant whites remind me of Savoie whites – freshness is a prime target. 130,000 bottles. Also do four chambres d’hôtes, bed and breakfast rooms, with dinner one evening in two. Paul-Henri does the cooking, well.

LVT 2017 r 2015 rosé 2015 wh  A reliable domaine that is organic. The young generation have come through, things are on the move. The wines are stylish, well-fruited and good value. They are being bottled earlier than previously. The 2015 Côtes du Rhône Tradition red is STGT wine, ***(*), and the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Les Saffres red an intricate **** wine.

LVT 2015 r 2015 wh A longstanding domaine of great interest, with owners committed to organic practices and social causes. Romain Bouchard died in July 2011 at the age of 88. His son Emmanuel has been running the domaine for the past couple of decades. The Valréas red known as Signature (has the Bouchard signature across the label) takes its time to settle, and ages well. The vineyards are at some altitude. The 2015 Côtes du Rhône Les Allards au Naturel red, an SO2 free wine, was **** and w.o.w., while the occasional Syrah-based Côtes du Rhône L'Enclave was also **** in 2015, a long lfe ahead of it

LVT 2015 r  2011 wh  A domaine that has been organic since the 1990s. Damien Marres took over the domaine from his cousin, Jean Couston, in 2006. Sales to Tesco and Sainsbury's in GB. Easy drinkability is sought, although the 2015 Valréas Réserve red was a fat ***(*) wine. Around half is bottled. Good white.

LVT  2015  wh 2011 rosé  2015  r  Name to note, STGT qualities as well. Jacques Coipel, a Belgian, bought the domaine in 2002, having worked for the Belgian oil exploration company Fina until 1999. His work took the family to countries such as Norway and Libya. He studied wine at Bordeaux when 46 years old, sought a domaine first at Corbières, then found the Mas Ste Croix at Valréas, then owned by a Co-operateur. Son Julien, born in 1985, studied at Orange and Dijon, and has worked in Switzerland at the Maison Hammel and in New Zealand where he harvested at Te Mata. He combines the roles of vinificateur, oenologue and chef de culture.
